Product Description

Application
Wedge carbide buttons mainly used for oil & gas tricone bits, oil drilling and mining machine drilling tools. Our wedge carbide inserts has excellent wear resistance and high TRS performance, these buttons are sintered by over voltage sintering furnace. The wedge carbide buttons also has precise measurement, which ensure it can tightly welded on the drill bits. The balance of the hardness and bending strength is very important for the wedge carbide buttons, so different formation we developed corresponding carbide grade to match it. Tungsten carbide buttons is widely used in petrol drilling, it also can be tools for tunneling, quarrying, mining and construction.

What's the advantage of our wedge carbide buttons?

  1. Using original powder, which make the buttons has better bending strength and hardness.
  2. Isostatic pressing machine ensure our carbide buttons has uniform density.
  3. Ground and precise measurement to meet customers' strict tolerance requirements.
  4. Strict quality check make each button has good performance and long working life.
  5. Every batch product can be traced.

Main Grade list
It is very important to select the right grade to match the using purpose, need to find the perfect balance between hardness and bending strength, we can offer experienced advice by considering the physical properties of the processing object, as well as the working condition for tools.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
Q: What types of rocks is the Hemispherical Shaped Carbide Mining Insert suitable for?
A: The product is suitable for various types of rocks, including but not limited to limestone, granite, sandstone, and coal gangue.
Q: Can the insert be customized in terms of dimensions?
A: Yes, we provide customized dimensions for the inserts based on the specific requirements of our customers to meet different drilling and excavation needs.

Q: How often should the Hemispherical Shaped Carbide Mining Insert be replaced?
A: The replacement frequency of the inserts depends on specific working conditions and usage. We recommend regularly inspecting the wear of the inserts and replacing them as needed to ensure optimal drilling performance.

Q: Can the product withstand high-temperature environments?
A: Absolutely, the Hemispherical Shaped Carbide Mining Insert exhibits excellent high-temperature resistance, ensuring safe and stable operation in high-temperature environments.

What are round carbide inserts used for?
Carbide inserts are replaceable and usually indexable bits of cemented carbide used in machining steels, cast iron, high temperature alloys, and nonferrous materials. Carbide inserts allow faster machining and leave better finishes on metal parts.

How do you identify turning inserts?
Carbide turning inserts, like all other metal cutting tools, are identified with a series of letters and numbers. These refer to the Turning Tool ISO code system that provides a (relatively) simple way to identify carbide inserts.

How do I know what size carbide insert to use?
Always select a carbide insert size based on the specific application needs and space for cutting tools in the application. Relatively large insert size provides better stability. Heavy machining requires a carbide insert size of above IC 25mm.
